Better Bona Furniture is one of the largest manufacturers in South China, operating on the market for over 15 years and running numerous marketing campaigns. Until recently, they relied on photography for product imagery. However, as the company expanded, the demand for visuals grew, prompting the marketing department to turn to CGI. What attracted Better Bona managers was the speed of producing promo visuals with CGI and the fact that it didn’t require a large budget.
Better Bona partnered with our rendering company to produce over 200 renders for more than 80 items. Each product received three views on a white background and two lifestyle scenes. Let’s take a closer look at the results of this ambitious 3D visualization project.
High-Quality 3D Modeling
Our team built 100% photorealistic 3D models for all 80 items. We also made 3 color options for each 3D model. This way, the manufacturers didn’t have to produce prototypes for every design variation but simply sent us drawings and references, and got imagery for the whole product line.

Plain Background Product 3D Renders
Our 3D artists created 9 pictures on the plain background for each Better Bona item including 3 color options. And each variation is shown from 3 angles — right 45° view, front view, and left 45° view. These 3 types of shots were needed to showcase the product in detail on e-comm listing pages.

Lifestyle 3D Visualization with Groups of Products
Our team made 2 lifestyle 3D renders for every product. A 3D scene had to include not only the brand’s furniture models but also 2-3 items of their partners — Tony’s Furniture Outlet. Those were wooden tables and chairs, drawer chests, and bookcases that complemented Better Bona upholstered furniture.

Product 3D Renders Usage
Better Bona Furniture used the 3D renders on their site and on Instagram. The pictures complement the overall aesthetic of the brand and are up-to-date with the hottest design trends.
